Rocky is an exciting young dog by FC Spiked Moon Pie, MH. He is a very happy outgoing boy who shows incredible talent for his tender age. We sincerely thank our friends Jason and Michelle Givens Lighthouse Kennels for entrusting us with this very special, stylish boy.
Rocky will be traveling to the 2007 Open National with Jason and will come home to run in the 2007 Amateur National with Gunther.
Rocky had an amazing 2007 Fall trial season for a very young dog. He ran thru to the 5th series in both the Open and Amateur Nationals with his luck running out at each trial on his last bird. We are extremely proud of this amazing, breathtaking, young dog. He catches eyes where ever he has run and receives many complements from those in the gallery who see him. His future is very promising.
Rocky is back with Jason to run in the 2008 Spring Canadian Trials. He started out his Canadian Trial career in the same fashion as he did his American Trial career by garnering a 1st at the Sudbury KC Trial.
Rocky and Jason have had a successful Fall working up to the 2008 Open National garnering 9 points so far among stiff competition. Rocky and Jason finished the 2008 National Open. We are very proud of this young dog and his accomplishments so far.
Rocky and Gunther finished the 2008 Trial Season with a bang! They finished Rocky's FC at the Antelope Valley ESSC trial held December 27 & 28. They followed this with a 2nd in the Amateur to give Rocky 6 Amateur points and a qualification for the 2009 Amateur National.
Rocky finished his 2008 by finishing the 2008 NOC, 5 placements, a FC and 17 continuous clean series.
Rocky has continued his amazing ways in 2009 needing only one point to finish his AFC.
Rocky finished his AFC in style with a second win at the 2010 Northwest ESSC Spring trial in Oregon. He ended the Spring strong with seconds in both the Open and Amateur at the Missouri Headwaters Trial in Montana.
Rocky's 2011 Spring trial season started late due to Gunther's gunning obligations for the early Spring Western Interclub Trials. Despite the late start Rocky didn't miss a beat placing 3rd at the Utah ESSC Spring Open trial and winning the Missouri Headwaters Open Trial in Montana. He will be going to Canada this Spring with the goal of finishing his CFC and starting his CAFC.
